Wosnia
A Twitch-exclusive show identity inspired by vintage travel postcards and designed to create a welcoming world for political conversation
Final title slate introducing Wosnia through a vintage postcard-inspired identity that transformed the show into a fictional destination
Overview
Wosnia was a Twitch-exclusive political commentary show hosted by Wosny Lambre for TYT Network. Unlike the network's traditional news programming, the show embraced a more relaxed, community-focused format inspired by Twitch culture.
The concept imagined "Wosnia" as a fictional destination where conversations about politics, sports, and culture could feel more hopeful and approachable. I was responsible for creating the show's visual identity, including the title slate, chyron, and on-screen bug.
Early explorations focused on recreating the look of classic "Greetings From..." travel postcards before building the complete show identity
The Challenge
The visual identity needed to communicate that Wosnia was more than a show—it was a place. The title graphic also had to reflect Wosny's personality by incorporating his interests in politics, New York City, Los Angeles, basketball, and streaming while remaining readable on a live broadcast.
Rather than designing a traditional broadcast package, I looked for a visual language that immediately suggested travel and nostalgia.
The final identity extended across broadcast graphics, creating a consistent visual language for the show's live Twitch presentation
The Solution
I based the identity on classic "Greetings From..." postcards, using bold dimensional typography filled with imagery representing Wosny's interests. Tropical colors, island imagery, and postcard-inspired typography reinforced the idea of Wosnia as an inviting destination rather than simply another political program.
The finished package included a title slate, broadcast chyron, on-screen bug, promotional social graphics, and website assets, creating a cohesive visual identity across every viewer touchpoint.
The completed artwork was adapted across social media and TYT's website, ensuring a cohesive brand experience wherever viewers encountered the show
Reflection
This project challenged me to adapt a familiar graphic design style into a modern streaming brand. I'm especially proud that the final design successfully captured the nostalgic feel of vintage postcards while giving the show a distinctive identity that both Wosny Lambre and TYT's Twitch team immediately embraced.
If I were revisiting the project today, I would replace the stock island artwork with custom vector illustrations, but I'm still proud of how effectively the design communicated the show's unique concept within a short production timeline.
