Additional Skills
I wanted to add a place to my portfolio where I could showcase projects that highlight skills that I’m either learning, or aren’t something I have professional work experience in, but I think could be relevant to certain job listings. That’s what this blog will be.
Photo Editing
Had an opportunity for some potential freelance photo editing, and I realized that my portfolio doesn’t feature much extensive photo editing, so I downloaded a free stock photo to showcase my editing. The first image is the raw photo for reference. The second was lightly touched up in Lightroom, and the third has some more extensive Photoshop retouching, including lightening the background.
Textile Design
Outside of work, I designed several all-over prints that I sold in my geek-inspired fashion shop, Bat and Cat. Fashion is something I’m really passionate about, and I’ve unfortunately not had the chance to work for a designer yet, but it didn’t stop me from creating my own prints.
Everything was created in either Illustrator or Photoshop. These are just some of the prints I made.
